Introduction aux formes conditionnelles et futures
Quelle est la différence ?
Les formes futures expriment des actions qui se produiront dans le futur. Les formes conditionnelles expriment des actions hypothétiques qui dépendent d'une condition. Bien que les deux temps puissent parfois sembler similaires, ils ont des usages et des significations différents.
Conditional : Subject + would + base verb
Exemples :
Future : I will go to the store tomorrow. (certitude)
Conditional : I would go to the store if I had time. (hypothèse)
Future : She will finish her homework. (action certaine)
Conditional : She would finish her homework if she weren't tired. (condition)

Utilise will pour les actions certaines dans le futur, would pour les hypothèses.

Le conditionnel ne s'utilise pas avec des dates précises dans le passé.
